Lodgok’s Loyalty

Preparing to storm the Coastal Mine

The quest “Lodgok’s Loyalty” is a story mission in the game. You must infiltrate the Coastal Mine to find Lodgok and thwart Ranrock’s plans to extract ancient magic.

The mine is located in the northern part of Lake Marunvim. Prepare for a serious battle — the enemy camp here is huge. As you approach the entrance, an armored troll will appear from the depths of the mine. Destroy it along with the other enemies, then climb the main path to the rock. On the right, you will find a small passageway leading inside.

First steps inside the mine

Go down the corridor, defeat the two goblins, and get into the cart on the right. After a short ride, climb the stairs and use Confringo or Incendio on the fireplace under the mechanism—this will open an additional door further along the route.

Next to the fireplace, find the stairs leading upstairs. Use Accio on the platform to pull it toward you. Stand on it and use Accio again—the platform will transport you to the other side. In the new area, you will encounter several goblins and a fork in the road with four directions.

The Right Path

Here you will find a small chest with loot and deposits of moonstone.

Left path — first collection chest

Jump into the hole in the floor to get to the lower room. The path to the chest is as follows:

The direct route — battle with the mini-boss

Once you have advanced into the covered area, light another fireplace with the Confringo or Incendio spell. This will activate the elevator just below the steps. Once you have ascended, engage in combat with a group of goblins, a reinforced troll, and a notorious enemy named Grodbik.

Advancing toward the drilling rig

Regardless of the side routes you choose, descend the main staircase. At the bottom, pull the platform up with the Accio spell, stand on it, and cross to the other side.

After another skirmish with the goblins, you have two options:

• Get into the minecart—it will take you to the door you unlocked with the fireplace at the beginning of the mine.
• Enter the room on the right — there is another fireplace to activate

Second Collectible Chest

Use the minecart to reach the southern section of the mine. After exiting, turn east and find the lever you activated earlier. Use Accio to pull it down—a round door will open, and behind it you will find the second collectible chest.

Destruction of the drilling rig

Return to the mechanism and light the fire beneath it. The activated elevator will take you upstairs. In the next room, a cutscene will begin: Ranrok addresses his minions, celebrating the success of the drilling.

After the cutscene, destroy all enemies, including the armored troll. Then destroy the five support columns around the perimeter of the hall—the ceiling will collapse directly onto the drilling rig.

The tragic outcome

In the final cutscene, Ranrock confronts you, and Rukwood brings Lodgok. The shocking truth is revealed: Lodgok is Ranrock’s younger brother. Trying to stop the bloodshed, Lodgok gives his brother a book with the location of the last vault.

The sacrifice proves futile — Ranrok strikes Lodgok with dark magic and kills him. Rukwood tries to use Avada Kedavra against Ranrok, but to no avail. As the ceiling finally collapses, you escape on the nearest trolley.

Exit from the mine

Once you are safe, interact with the gate ahead to open it. Turn left and climb the slope—this is the exit from the Coastal Mine. The quest “Lodgok’s Loyalty” is complete.
